About Morning Glory
 
Seeds may be started inside but they start readily outside. Sow seeds 1/4" in warm soil. Seedlings emerge in 7-10 days and grow rapidly. Sow seeds in an area where they can climb and where self seeding won't be a problem.

Ipomoea. This Bavarian variety was passed down to Diane Whealy by her grandfather, John Ott and was one of the first varieties to help found Seed Savers Exchange. Small, deep purple flowers with a red star in the throat. Can grow to 25 feet. Prolific bloomer on beautiful vines.
